A five-member Arogi Team was at the University of Ibadan on the 16th August 2024 for a mental and awareness campaign. This engagement was in collaboration with the UNILAG Counseling Unit and the University of Ibadan Youth and Eco-Friendly Center. The campaign venue was the Main Hall of the Youth Friendly Center. Students converged in the hall and the advocacy presentation was delivered by Odusanya Adedeji on a topic titled Optimizing Our Mental Well-Being. Other team members in attendance are, Dr Adeleke Taiwo, Dr Itunu Onifade, Mr Frederick Cudjoe, and Mr Ebuka Ilodianya.

Specifically, the advocacy program which was adequately covered by the social media manager, addressed the significance of well-being, the impact of thought on behavior, benefits of a stable mind, the effect of an unstable mind, and how to optimize well-being. This advocacy was delivered to the delight of the attendees, who expressed their satisfaction based on the stimulating impact of the message.

The director of the UI Youth and Eco-Friendly Center, Dr Akinyemi Oluwakemi, applauded the initiative and hinted at the essence of continuity of the initiative. In light of the aforementioned, she invited her staff to take us round the facility at the Youth Friendly Center sequel to the program, just to express the seriousness of the school and the Center regarding investment in students/Youths. This development, no doubt, opened us to opportunities for further collaboration.

After the program, which came to an end with a question and answer session, a photography session was also conducted. This was with a few of the students in attendance and the staff of the unit.

This souvenir was a Sunlight Detergent branded key-holder and a hand fan each for the attendees.

Also, we used the opportunity of the engagement to share Arogi information cards bearing our new toll-free line 080 000 1 000 20.

In all, we want to acknowledge the support of the President, Dr Otis Ojeikhoia and the Board of Trustees for their undiluted support so far.
