AROGI MINI OUTREACH AT BRT TERMINAL AND MEDICAL ROAD,IKEJA Thursday 7th of March, 2024.
Arogi team of psychologies and call centre, Edmond Ighedo, Abimbola Omotosho and Grace Balogun, fully engaged the street of Ikeja to spread the words ‘ mental health’ to traders, passers-by and pharmacy on the availability of free counselling and therapy for anyone experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenge.
We were able to attract the interest of the traders and passer-by about how to access free mental health and the importance to our well-being. Stickers were given to these skilled individuals to paste and share to their relations and anyone go through emotional challenges
We had an interesting and interactive feedback from passer-by with series of event that has happened in the past while a lady shared her own personal experience about an emotional challenge she successfully came out from due to financial difficulties and hereby encourages the foundation to do more in reaching out to people with such cases via social media and other platforms.
In line with the vision, the foundation will keep impacting live via this means and others as we cover more grounds.
