AROGI MINI OUTREACH AT GUINNESS ROAD,OBA AKRAN, Ikeja, Lagos. Wed 6th of March, 2024

Arogi Team members, Omolola Yekeen, Frederick A Cudjoe and Precious Oyakilome engaged the trycicle drivers(Keke maruwa), traders and passers-by on the availability of free counseling and therapy for anyone experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenge.

Through enlightened interactions, we were able to arouse their insight about the importance of good mental health and how it can be accessed for free.

Precious and Omolola discussing free mental health with a trader.

We were impressed by their knowledge about mental health and this aided our interactions.

The feedback was very encouraging as we had tricycle drivers who collected large amounts of our stickers to paste on their tricycles and distribute to their colleagues. We were even allowed to paste on their tricycles while the association chairman personally collected our stickers for distribution purpose. The team also met with shop owners, traders and individuals passing by who collected our stickers to paste in their homes and shops for awareness purpose.
