Arogi Foundation Collaborates With Creative Industry Group
Arogi team joined the Creative Industry Group on the 28th of November 2024 at MSquare Hotel, Toyin Street, Ikeja, to address the mental health needs of the youth, mostly adolescents numbering over 300 across Secondary Schools within the Ikeja metropolis. This event attracted the attention of stakeholders from both the private and public sectors. The Lagos State Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, Lagos State. All stakeholders including Arogi Trauma Care Foundation addressed the target population.
Specifically, Arogi Trauma Care Foundation spoke to the students clearing their doubts on some burning aspects of Drug Abuse and Addiction. We spoke on Drug Abuse viz-A-Viz Drug Addiction Cycle, including the biological basis of drug addiction, its effects and consequences.
The entire Arogi team including a volunteer was present, save Dr Abimbola and Mr Edmond Ighedo, who stayed put at the office to maintain the operations. The name of the volunteer is Oladeinde Adenike Olabisi.
We further supported the program with some souvenirs, courtesy of Brands Optimal Client Service Department. These souvenirs were 50 trays and spoons. This event started at 11 am and ended at 3:35 pm.
