Grace Balogun

Grace Balogun is a licensed clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and sexual assault trauma therapist. She is a co-founder of Ten Times Better Consulting (TTB).

She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ibadan. She is a trained and certified sexual assault trauma counsellor by the British Council. She holds a certificate in child and adolescent mental health from the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital in Yaba, Lagos. She is also a substance use disorder professional and addiction recovery counselor.

She is a mental health advocate whose passion is to help children, teenagers and adults with a history of abuse and other traumatic experiences, and as a result, she has been featured severely on the radio, social media platforms, schools, correctional homes, religious and corporate organizations, as well as participating in one on one outreaches for mental health awareness. She is a passionate advocate for the overall psychological wellbeing of the female gender, especially young girls.

She volunteered with the Lagos State COVID-19 Psychosocial Response Team to support the fight against the deadly virus in Nigeria. She equally volunteers as a counsellor at Daystar Christian Center, and she is an alumna of Daystar Leadership Academy.

She has worked with several NGOs, joining forces with them to improve the wellness and quality of life of Nigerians through advocacy, psychological assessments, and interventions.

She has expertise in the use of major psychological assessment tools, including some projective tests.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), and the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP).

Grace currently works at the AROGI Trauma Care Foundation as a clinical psychologist.

She has over 7 years of work experience in the field, attending to mental and behavioural issues as well as issues surrounding sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).
